Kellie Wilson

Clinical Psychologist

Welcome!

I’m Kellie Wilson, a Clinical Psychologist based in Ballarat Central, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve greater emotional well-being. With nearly 16 years of experience, I specialise in providing tailored, evidence-based psychological support to both adolescents and adults. Whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties, my aim is to offer a safe, empathetic environment where you can openly explore your concerns and work towards meaningful, lasting change. To make support as accessible as possible, I offer flexible appointment options, including both in-person and telehealth sessions, so you can receive the support you need, when you need it.

About me

Kellie Wilson

I completed my Master of Psychology (Clinical) in Ballarat 16 years ago, and since then, I’ve gained diverse experience across public mental health, private practice, Federation University, and within secondary schools. Over the years, my passion for supporting adolescents has deepened, and I find great fulfilment in helping young people navigate this pivotal stage of their lives.

While I work with a wide range of presentations, I specialise in supporting teens and adults through challenges such as excessive stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, adjustment, grief, parenting struggles, perinatal concerns, interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, and self-esteem issues.

As a lifelong Ballarat resident, I’m deeply committed to the mental health and wellbeing of our local community. I’ve worked in various roles throughout Ballarat and have been actively involved in volunteer work over the years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and young family (mother of two), getting outdoors, running, cycling with my family, and spending time at the beach.

Services offered

Individual Therapy and Clinical Supervision, particularly for those completing their clinical psychology registrar program

I offer individualised care to clients 13 years and over.  I am committed to offering personalised, compassionate, evidence-based intervention through therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor my approach to each client to best suit their individual needs. I work closely with my clients to create personalised treatment plans that are aligned with their individual goals. Recognising that each person's needs are unique, I take the time to truly understand each client who comes into the therapy space.

I am a certified facilitator of parenting programs, including Tuning into Teens and Circle of Security Parenting.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am a board approved clinical supervisor with AHPRA. I have a particular passion for assisting psychologists on their clinical endorsement path. I also offer supervision to registered psychologists and other allied health professionals in the mental health and counselling sectors. Don't hesitate to reach out if you would like to learn more about clinical supervision.
